Arrival Time & Check In

Volunteer arrival times vary by role. Please refer to your volunteer assignment or communications from event leadership for your specific reporting time.

As a general guideline, volunteers should plan to arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of their shift to allow time for parking, check-in, locating their assigned area, and to receive any necessary training for their role.

Parking

Please review the Parking webpage prior to the event for parking locations.  Volunteers are responsible for any parking fees incurred.  The Minnesota VEX Robotics State Championship is unable to validate parking or reimburse parking expenses.

Volunteer Check In Location

Volunteer check in will occur in Show Office A which is near the River’s Edge Convention Center lobby.  Maps can be found through the venue maps webpage.

All volunteers should check in upon arrival, even if they know where their assignment is located.  This helps us distribute event updates, provide volunteer materials, and account for all volunteers.

What to Expect at Check In

At check in, volunteers may receive:

First Time Volunteers

If this is your first time volunteering at the Minnesota VEX Robotics State Championship, don’t worry.  Members of the event leadership team and experienced volunteers will be available to help answer questions.
