Global Robotics Code of Conduct

The Minnesota VEX Robotics State Championship is committed to providing a competitive environment that is safe, respectful, educational, and student-centered.  All participants, including students, coaches, mentors, parents, volunteers, event staff, and spectators are expected to adhere to the Global Robotics & Science Foundation’s Code of Conduct.

The code of conduct is built around six core commitments: Safety, Respect, Learning, Integrity, Fairness, and Reporting.  Participants are expected to prioritize student safety, treat others with respect, support student ownership of team work, compete honestly, follow event rules, and report concerns when necessary.

All attendees are also expected to comply with the Global Robotics Student-Centered Policy and Youth Protection Policy.  These policies work together to ensure a positive, inclusive, and student-focused competition experience for everyone involved.

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in corrective action by event officials and/or Global Robotics & Science Foundation staff and may affect a participant’s ability to attend or continue participating in the event.
