Inspection Process

Teams must successfully complete robot inspection before they are permitted to participate in Skills Challenge attempts or competition matches. It is recommended teams get robots inspected early to avoid long lines.

Inspections for the VEX IQ Robotics Competition and VEX V5 Robotics Competition will take place in Terry Haws B (Middle School), located behind the bleachers across from the Skills Competition fields.

Refer to the event agenda for inspection deadlines and be sure your robot is inspected by the required time.

Before the State Championship

Teams and coaches are strongly encouraged to pre-inspect their team’s robot using the RECF Robot Inspection Checklist.

V5 and VEX U teams will need to make sure their robot and controller are running the latest VEXos firmware and their team number is located on the robot brain.

IQ teams will need to make sure their robot brain and controller are running the latest VEXos firmware.
