A Tool for today's educators, mentors, and parents to inspire tomorrow's problem solvers.
VEX competitions judge teams made up of Elementary, Middle and High School students on their ability to program, drive, and control a robot.
The VEX Robotics Design System offers students an exciting platform for learning about areas rich with career opportunities spanning science, technology, engineering, math, and robotics (STEMR). VEX Robotics embraces a model of explorative STEM learning. We want kids to learn how much fun it is to solve challenging problems. We're providing tools which are easy for beginners to master, but will expand with the imagination and experience of their users.
The program is open to students of all skills and backgrounds, and is the fastest-growing extra-curricular or club in HS and Middle Schools.
Beyond science and engineering principles, a VEX Robotics project encourages teamwork, leadership, and problem solving among groups. This helps develop the soft skills students need to succeed.
DEVELOPS SOFT SKILLS
In addition to critical STEM skills, students also gain soft skills that are so critical today. This includes leadership, negotiation, creative thinking, public speaking, verbal communication and persuasion.
